Many think of Eventbrite as a platform where they can buy tickets to events. Whether it be small concerts, cooking classes, speed dating, etc. Eventbrite has grown immensely! But what is Eventbrite really?

If you think about it, when you make a mini-event, you make a mini social network. Eventbrite is the company looking to capitalize on it. One fact about Eventbrite is that they're great at selling tickets. That's what makes them successful in the events space.
Also, Eventbrite has been working with other apps to bring the capability of selling Eventbrite tickets on their apps too! That way, Eventbrite can continue capitalizing on its strengths in other places. From it, Eventbrite has been able to help numerous events and organizations succeed in event hosting from a variety of places. 5K races have used the Eventbrite API to send photos and race times to participants. Paperless Post uses it to link tickets with invitations. MailChimp and Salesforce use the API to help companies stay in touch with the people who attend their events.
But what makes Eventbrite different from other ticketing companies? Simple, they allowed anyone to sell tickets on its platform whether they’re planning a cooking class for their friends or a huge event with thousands of seats.
Another thing that makes Eventbrite unique is its innovative team. One of the things they did is that they created a credit-card reader for its clients. I highly doubt there are other event planning businesses that are willing to go the extra mile and create something like that.
And for growth investors looking for an excuse to invest in Eventbrite, does international expansion count?
Overall, Eventbrite is building its own ecosystem and looking to monetize it further. We might find Eventbrite to not be that big in our lives but in the future, we’ll look back at this article and realize that they’ve been growing underneath our noses.
